A perfectly enjoyable classic Belgian Trippel corrupted almost beyond recognition with a completely inappropriate amount of US hops. Only in America can such excessive excesses be fully appreciated, celebrated, and enjoyed...and for now, only at East End Brewing! To make this one a little more cellar-able, and a lot more portable, it’s going into the bottle. Limited run, available in October of 2006 at the brewery and a few select tap spots.

1L bottle from brewery. Pale yellow body is slightly unappealing but bonus points for the giant white head that leaves a wonderful bubbly lacing on the glass. Aroma is sweet, fruity, malty... grapefruits, bananas and yeast. Is it a tripel or a IIPA? I’m not sure... Starts out like a nice fruity tripel... orange, grapefruit, banana. Finishes with a huge bitter hop kick like a IIPA. Overall an incredibly interesting, unique, and tasty beer.
