Commercial Description:
I knew you wouldn’t forget our anniversary! Three malts, three hops, and three years went into this Triple Anniversary Ale. Special thanks to "Uncle Chuck" for hand rendering this label for me. I’m told that glass is appropriate for the third, so - by all means, use one. But remember, the key to a long lasting relationship is sharing, so find yourself a GOOD FRIEND and ... well, you know the rest by now. Thanks again for remembering, and enjoy the beer.
Cheers, Scott.

Bottle… RBSG ‘08… Murky, apple juice colored ale with a small, creamy, white head. Spicy, fruity aroma provides instances of clove, pear and banana. Full-bodied with nearly-dead carbonation. Sweet, fruity flavor. Lengthy, sweet, fruity finish with just a hint of bitterness in the aftermath.

1 L bottle: Pours a hazy copper bronze with a stringy-lacing white head. Aroma of sweet biscuity pale malts with a touch of clove and orange zest along with good Belgian yeastiness. Body starts fairly full and sweet with a good spice and bitter balance with a nice light fruity character before a bready yeasty finish. A pretty good and true to style tripel.

1 L flip-top bottle. Very hazy blonde-golden colour. Aroma is fruity and sweet. Soft chewy sweet clove and banana along with a bit of peppery spiciness. Flavour is quite sweet and fruity, but it’s pretty nice. Lightly minty.

Bottle from PUB’N. Turnid deep gold pour with multiple effervescent streams and a frothy, white head. The aroma is citric, floral, spicy, with some candi sugar and apricots. The palate is firm, lively, and well balanced, with flavors of apricot, candi sugary malt, floral spices, and hops. This one got better and better as I finished it, making me crave another. Another awesome brew from Scott Smith.

RBSG ’08: Poured a hazed yellow color with an almost white head. Sweet malt aroma with light yeasty notes. The flavor was malty sweet as well. Notes of yeasty spice and alcohol. Sweet warming finish. Medium body.

Thanks to Larry for bringing this bottle by! Poured hazy peach with just a dusting of white head. The aroma picked up toasty paler malts surrounded by brighter, alcohol-infused pear-like sweetness.. aiight. The flavor was spicy and rather hot with pale malts and lighter fruits at the core.. dry black peppery spices surrounded.. finished with peppery alcohol. Medium-bodied and warm throughout the mouth.. lots of spicage.. just OK.
