COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The earliest documented evidence of the East End Brewing’s East End Witte dates all the way back to November of 2004, much like the brewery itself. Classically styled, this Belgian “white beer” is layered with week upon week of long standing brewing tradition, history, experience, and craftsmanship - brought to you, fresh from the brewery by the brewer himself. (No, he’s not your server, but he was definitely in here recently with a keg.) Taste the new tradition for yourself.

it was great before, but its even BETTER now that he improved the recipe! it has a delicate, almost sweet flavor, but it also has a bit of spiciness to it that rounds it out and makes it delicious.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a hazy lemon color with a large creamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of spices, yeast, wheat, mild nuttiness. The taste is wheat, citrus, spice, herbal hops. Fairly dry, medium bodied.

Light and refreshing "white beer". Tastes of coriander and orange. Goes down quite easily and is tasty enough to drink all day.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy, milky yellow with a white soapy head. Aroma of lemon, bread, coriander and spice. A very solid offering for this style.

On tap at the brewery. Hazy, milky yellow pour, white head. Wheat bread, banana, lemon, coriander, and light spice. Very light, not my favorite.

Growler acquired via amazing trade with cpetrone84...THANKS CHRIS!!! Hazy white straw color that produced a lively ivory head that left a web of lacing inside the glass. Lots of banana, spice, lemon zest, coriander, and biscuit. Soft and clean, yet flavorful with a natural fruitiness and a wonderful Belgian influence. Great sessionable brew!!!

Friend’s 1/4 keg. This one packs a punch aromatically and on the palate. Strikes me as some nice spicy, malty juice with some decent citrus backbone. Not too heavy that it shocks the palate, this one is well balanced in that it refreshes but brings a solid flavor profile to the table.

Draft @ Map Room in Pittsburgh. Pours a hazy, medium golden color; white head with good retention and fine-bubbled lacing. Good, clear amounts of coriander, orange peel, and Belgian sugars; solid witte nose. Lively carbonation. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: Belgian sugars, coriander, and soft oranges and spicing; nicely toasted, crisp, and lively texture; very solid witte. Medium finish: coriander, lightly toasted malts, and Belgian sugars; dry, toasty.
