Bright clear gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light and crispy and semi dry. Big tangy orange and lemon. Touch of floralness. Airy dry finish brings a pinch of hop spice. Tangy fruity liner. Suspiciously strong in it’s tang but quite drinkable.

Gravity, Coventry BF, 04/04/14. Loose crowned faint misted gold. Nose of armpit, just peeled 2 day old boiled eggs and pickled onions. Sorry that’s guy stood next to me. Don’t you just love CAMRA fests? Weak traces of anonymous citrus and grass nose. Milky lactic cashew malt, some sappy thistle hop. Rubber and decent biscuit linger. Time to cast my net further afield....

Name: light grass hops, light bread malts. Appearance: hazy pale gold, no head at all. Taste: light sweet. Palate: fruity sweets initially, turning to medium bitters in the average-long dry finish. Overall: nice Golden Ale, but fails to stand out, too light in aroma. Pint at the Willow Walk, Victoria.
