Bottle from Oddbins Clapham. Colour is murky hazy darkish brown. The bottles been standing for a couple of days. Very slightly off white medium foam head. Nose is very nutty, chocolatey malt, woody, slight earthy, dryish green leaf hop. Taste is chocolatey malt, earthy hop, fruity hop, dryish hop, green leafy hop, pine and light menthol. A bitter but it’s quite complex with a blend of English hops with piney new world hops and lots of chocolatey malt.

Looks and smells nice in the glass. There is also fresh and pleasant tiny bubbles. However the wood/root very present palate overcomes a lighter taste and shy flavors.
