Cask and bottle regular;
Our newest beer is a darker, warmer, smoother mouthfeel beer than the other two. It has a red tinge to the colour and is relatively well hopped.

Bottle from Oddbins London Bridge. I’ve just heard the phrase "my father would have killed for a rectum of a horse." which puts everything into context doesn’t it? Dark brown beer with a lasting thick dark beige head. This is a very good best bitter. Brilliant malts, great peppery hop on the end. This is really good. A very good best bitter.

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Bright chestnut with a thin cream head; sweet, honeyed, buttery aroma; smooth in the mouth with a rich oily texture, sweet richly roasted malts, and some chocolate and nuts, combined with a light spicy bitterness; leading to a long satisfying finish. A rather good ESB style beer.

5th May 2015: cask, hand-pulled pint in the Royal Oak somewhere in London. Deep red hue to the brown body, a beige head sitting on top. Malts all the way in this full bodied, smooth brew. Semi-sweet with very little hop influence in either the nose or flavour. Decent.

From tap. It appears it is quite a good bitter: malty, caramel and with a decent amount of hops.

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Hazy dark brown in colour, this beer pours with a huge rocky white head. It has a tart red fruit and chocolate flavour followed by cherries and roasted notes on the creamy finish.
