Decent frothy white head, slightly sweaty taste, some melon and peach, quite bitter. Tasty. No citrus style hoppiness, just bitterness. Quite different to a modern American pale ale in this respect. Amber.

The taste is more of the same, some meaty lemon and shortbread. Apricot. Medium body, soft carbonation. Overall, a simple but pleasing beer. OK.

5th April 2012 On tap at Tap East. Clear gold beer, short bubbly white head. Smooth semi dry palate. Mildly resinous hops, fair bit of mild marmalade, trace of tea. Semi dry finish. Mild bitter linger. Decent but I think I have had this beer before and it was better....
