Cask, smells quite lame, stale. Pours a lightish clear pale. Not a bad very subtle hoppy test with balance ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Decent frothy white head, slightly sweaty taste, some melon and peach, quite bitter. Tasty. No citrus style hoppiness, just bitterness. Quite different to a modern American pale ale in this respect. Amber.

[ As East London Dry Hopped Pale Ale ].
Unclear medium amber orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine, orange - citrus, orange orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light light heavy bitter with a average to long duration, dry, orange peel, dusty, grass - hay notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20111207]

Cask @ The Union Tavern. The pour’s medium gold amber with a modest white head. The nose is red apple skin, some sea grass, salt and mild accents of citrus. The taste is more of the same, some meaty lemon and shortbread. Apricot. Medium body, soft carbonation. Overall, a simple but pleasing beer. OK.

(Cask at Priory Arms, Stockwell, London, 21 April 2012) Golden amber colour with foamy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with peaches, biscuits and citrus. Fruity, malty taste with notes of peaches, biscuity malt and a gentle, slightly dusty, bitterness in the finish. Rather light body, with balanced sweetness. Quite drinkable and tasty.

Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’12. Gold to amber with white head. Easy drinking sessionable beer with a light citrusy note, light, just bitter enough and very decent. Proved pretty popular on the night.

Cask at Bristol’s Beerd, 8th May 2012. Not a bad ale, bit watery nothing interesting, just a simple beer

Pours clear with almost no head. Light orange in colour with a moderate hoppy aroma. Initial dry hoppy taste changing to a slight spicy aftertaste. Good session beer.

On tap at Tap East. Clear gold beer, short bubbly white head. Smooth semi dry palate. Mildly resinous hops, fair bit of mild marmalade, trace of tea. Semi dry finish. Mild bitter linger. Decent but I think I have had this beer before and it was better....
