From polycask (gravity dispense) at Great British Beer Festival, day 4 on 5 August 2011. Noted at 5.9% but alcohol levels in cider can vary from year to year. Fairly clear gold colour. Designated "5" on the GBBF sweetness scale, which means medium-dry, but it seemed closer to medium than to bone dry. Aroma had some fruit and was a bit musty. Quite sharp on the palate - a little acetic but low on tannin, which can often be the case with "Eastern counties" style ciders. Pleasantly drinkable stuff.

draught at Blakes of Dover, August 2009. Clear golden colour. Fruity nose. Fruity, lots of tart apples with a pleasantly shy astringency.

From plastic barrel in The Chambers, Folkestone. Very apple juicy. Not a lot of tannin or other characters, but if you like alcoholic apple juice this is pretty good. Not overly sweet with some dryness on the finish even. Simple, but pretty tasty and I’d like to try the dry.
