On tap at Copenhagen Beerfestival. It’s a hazy, orange-brown beer with a small off-white head leaving lacings. Alcohol, some caramel, sweetness, dried fruits and lemony hops on the nose. The flavor is sweet and fruity, almost syrupy, with some resiny, citrusy hops giving a nice bitternesss. Warming, full-bodied mouthfeel, yet it’s a bit watery. Sweet, bitter finish. A decent beer, but a bit thinnish, and quite far from my favorite Barley Wine. (090515)

Muddy brown with a lasting, creamy off-white head. Vineous aroma of dried fruits, with lots of citrus hops. Flavour is hoppy and yeasty and too raw. Needs a couple of years in the cellar.

Opaque orange body. Steady, white foamy head. Late fruity aroma. Fusion of citrus shells in flavour with malty sweetness. Dry hop bitterness to the ending. Very pleasing to my palate (CBF, 15.05.2009).
