[EBF @ Copenhagen, September 2008] Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Light cloudy amber color. Aroma of rye bread, mild underlying hops, yeast, hint of fruit and some alcohol. Over the palate came again fruit and mild liquorish like notes. Medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation and somewhat thick texture. Heavy sweet flavor with good counter bitterness. Fruity and somewhat dry bitter hoppy finish.

(Draught) Pours dark red. The aroma holds caramel and dried fruits. The flavour is caramelly, fruity and citric/floral hop bitter. The mouthfeel is sticky. Lingering fruity, green hoppy and sweet malty finish. Medium to full bodied.

On tap at Brewpub København. Nice off-white, creamy head on top of the hazy burgundy-coloured beer. Sharp fruity and bitter aroma, hints of figs and candy sugar. Sweet, fruity fig flavours, some coffeeish bitterness as well as raisins. Full-bodied. Points also for originality.
