[EBF @ Copenhagen, September 2008] Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Light cloudy amber color. Aroma of rye bread, mild underlying hops, yeast, hint of fruit and some alcohol. Over the palate came again fruit and mild liquorish like notes. Medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation and somewhat thick texture. Heavy sweet flavor with good counter bitterness. Fruity and somewhat dry bitter hoppy finish.

(Draught) Pours dark red. The aroma holds caramel and dried fruits. The flavour is caramelly, fruity and citric/floral hop bitter. The mouthfeel is sticky. Lingering fruity, green hoppy and sweet malty finish. Medium to full bodied.

An amber beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and over ripe fruits.

Draught at EBF 2008, Copenhagen, Denmark. Clear medium to dark amber color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, caramel, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. 120908

Sampled at EBF2008. Nice citric nose, a hint wood. Cloudy orange. Slightly flat malt profile, oranges, pine. A bit light body. Grassy finish

Deep amber, reddish colour with a foamy tan head. Sweet fruity, light roasted aroma with a vague chocolate and alcohol sweet note and hints of yeast. Roasted malty, light fruity sweet flavor with notes of caramel and earth. Dry hoppy finish with a light sweet note.

Deep unclear reddish brown. Malty aroma of ripe fruit anb caramel. Some spices develops in mouth. Sweet flavour with some sour hint in finish. Well balanced.

(EBF 2008) Hazy amber color, no head. Nutty malty aroma, a bit vinous and some chocolate. Vinous flavor, some alcohol showing.

EBF2008. Light brown colour and hazy. Has an off-white head. Aroma has notes of alcohol. Malty too. Flavor is heavy sweet. Warming alcohol. Syrup texture.

(On tap) Hazy reddish brown with a small off-white head. Sweetish sherry aroma, woody with some alcohol in the nose. Quite full-bodied with fruit - both dried and overripe. Has some good aroma hops but also a lightly earthy edge. Subdued bitterness. 120908

On tap at Brewpub København. Nice off-white, creamy head on top of the hazy burgundy-coloured beer. Sharp fruity and bitter aroma, hints of figs and candy sugar. Sweet, fruity fig flavours, some coffeeish bitterness as well as raisins. Full-bodied. Points also for originality.
