Unclear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, phenoel, medicine (gazebind). Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light acidic and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090515]

CBF 2009: Medium amber colour and clear. Has an off-white head, mostly lasting. Aroma has typical notes of belgian yeast, pepper. Licorice. Moderate sweet flavor, moderate bitter finish. Syrup texture, soft carbonation.

Sampled from tap. Dark-orange body, very cloudy. Decent off-white hue. Hoppy to the nose with roasted undertones. Spiced hoppy aroma, orange shells and plenty of sweet, dry malts in flavour. Discreet fruit bitterness to the ending. Likeable (CBF, 15.05.2009).

Hazy redbrown. Aroma moderate malty (caramel, fruity) and yeasty. Flavor moderate sweet and acidic. Light body. I’d really like it.

Draught at KØ09. Spicy phenolic aroma. Cloudy dark brown colour. The flavour is a lot like the aroma, but more roasted. A little sweet.

CBF09. From tap. Pours cloudy amber with a small tan head. Light phenolic and fruity aroma with a mild caramel malt base. Light bitter and roasted malt. Yeasty and light fruity flavoured finish.

On tap. Hazy orangey brown with an off-white head. Intensely phenollic aroma. Medium body with sweet fruits and overripe fruit, cough syrup, yeast and again phenols - not really a pleasant combination. No bitterness. Not good. 150509

Draught. Hazy deep brown colour. Sweet hoppy aroma. Hoppy sweet caramel malty flavour with alcohol and spice.
