Kan med fordel anvendes til marinader og desserter. Nydes bedst ved 8-12 grader.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of over ripe fruits, but also light notes of roasted malt and Belgian yeast. The alcohol leaves a slight burn in the throat.

Bottle. [thank you, Myrup]
Pours utterly black with a thin, creamy film of light-brown foam. Powerful aroma. Lots of dried fruits, plums, raisins, some grapes. Behind that, there is good chocolate, roasted malts and a little coffee. Medium carbonation, super creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is very nice! Good sweetness, fatty malts. Lots of soft roasted tones, some coffee and chocolate. Light viniousness with a little oak and port quialities. Toffee as well. The aftertaste is long and lingering with the alcohol carrying it far and long. Great beer.

(Bottle 50 cl) Completely black and opaque with a small, beige head. Fat aroma of burned malt. Very full-bodied with sweetish burned malt, almost vinous and port-like. Sweetish finish - fat and very solid. 310808

Bottle. [Papsoe tasting 31-08-2008, thanks buddy] Small fizzy off-white head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Black color. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, berries, roasted malt. Over the palate came lost of sweet chocolate and mild liquorish like notes. Medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated to heavy sweet flavor with some counter sweetness. Roasted malty chocolate like finish.

Bottle at Hugos Vinkælder. Pitch black coloured with a small beige head. Sweet and roasted aroma of dried fruits, liquorice and chocolate with notes of rye bread and alcocol. Sweet and roasted flavour of caramel, dried fruits and liquorice with notes of chocolate, alcohol, hops and smoke. Roasted and warming alcoholic finish. The aroma is close to perfect, but overall it’s too alcoholic.

Bottle @ Hugos Vinkælder, Køge. Pitch black colour with a small brown head. Lovely soft very roasty maltiness in the aroma along with dark fruits, alcohol, bitter chocolate and liquorice. Great filling mouthfeel. The flavour is bustling with roasted malt, sweet dark fruits, chocolate, liquorice, bit of alcohol and some smoke. Long lasting very roasty dry finish. Great brew indeed!

0.5 l bottle, picked from the brewery, thanks Hannu N and Timo A!. Black color with small tan head. Sweetish, roasty, earthy and grassy aroma with salty licorice and barnyard. Bittersweet flavor with coffee, chocolate ,salty licorice, barnyard, raisins and plums. Fairly warming yet soft alchol note. Very rich artisanal and original "farm house" stout, with an odd earthy-barnyard note.
