Draft. An unclear golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of fruit and spices - especially coriander and cloves. The flavor is very sweet malty and rather spicy - primarily coriander as well as a good deal of fruit towards the end - especially peaches. It also has notes of alcohol that burns slightly on the palate before a dry spicy finish sets in.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 yespr (22207) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - AUG 30, 2008
From tap at the pub. Pours hazy to murky orange with a creamy white head. Aroma is fruity and mild spiced with a light lurking sweetness. Sweet and mild spiced flavour. Spices makes it seem authentic triple but the base flavour is way too sweet and clear from added sugar. A bit unfinished/unrefined. Light bitterness and almost cloying sweet finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Adenila (1470) - DENMARK - MAR 9, 2008
Tap. Very unique look, completly opaque yellow, with very few bubbles and without much of a head. It looks so dense that it resembels orange sorbet more than beer. Aroma is extremly creamy with lots of peach and coriander. Flavor is on the sweet side aswell and goes well with the alchocol. Best of the 3 from eastcoast i tasted that evening.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Papsoe (22985) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 7, 2008
(On tap) Hazy golden with a small, creamy, white head. Quite perfumy coriander nose. Good, full body with loads of sweet, pale malts - almost sugary - with a wee whiff of yeast and LOTS of coriander. Lightly bitter finish. A very decent Tripel albeit a bit on the sweet side. This is now the house beer at Hugo’s Vinkælder. The bartender told me that they will keep refining the recipe. He reckons they will get it right around Batch 5-6 - this is Batch 1! The next beer will have more coriander (:-(), be less sweet and hold 9.2% ABV. 070308
