Tap. Black color with a brown head. Roasted aroma with a very light burned note and hops. Roasted body with a chocolate pattern. Nice hop palate but balanced and smooth. Very nice.

Pours a lovely black with a small, creamy, beige head. Good lacing. Aroma is nicely roasted, light chocolate and good flowery hops. Low carbonation, fine creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is nice, lots of oatmeal, roasted, light chocolate. Nice and a heavy vinious finish.

Draught at EBF 2008. Black coloured with a small beige head. Fruity and roasted arom aof dark fruits and coffee. Roasted flavour of coffee, liquoirice and hops. Roasted and hoppy finish.

From tap. Pours dark brown with a diminished tan head. Mild chalky and hard roasted malty aroma with a distinct chocolate malty note. Smooth roasted malty flavour with mild acidic touch and slight chalky note. Sweet and solid bitter finish.

Black with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, coffee and chocolate notes. Sweet and vinious flavour flavour with roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and overripe fruits. Ends sweet with warming alcohol.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2008 Draught at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. Almost black. Aroma of chocolate aniseed and brandy. sweet and spicy, thick and malty. There are chocolate sauce and syrup, but aniseed comes to dominate. Some tobacco linger in a salty bitter finish. A high quality Imperial Stout.

[EBF @ Copenhagen, September 2008] Average creamy brown head that mostly diminished. Fair display of lacework. Pitch black color. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, mild liquorish. Fairly straight forward Imp Stout. Medium to full bodied with an average carbonation and somewhat thick mild alcoholic texture. Moderated bitter and sweet flavor. Burned malt and coffee finish.

Rating #7from the european beer festival 2008. Dark brown look. Strong coffenotes in the aroma along with some clear eu hops. Flavor was mainly sweet again with notes of coffee and some roasted bitterness.
