Dark brown with a lasting tan head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, and notes of peat smoke and hops. Sweet and roasted flavour, rather mellow with peat smoke notes. A friendly imperial stout, with a long pleasant aftertaste.

Rune (4950) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUN 1, 2009
Brownish head that stays well on top of a near-black body. Discreet smoky touch to an aroma dominated by sweet malts. Sweet and dry flavour of hops and chocolate malts leading to notes of bitter coffee. Velvet and dry in the mouth. Tingling alcohol. A really nice one (sampled from a bottle at CBF, 15.05.2009).

On tap. Hazy dark brown with a small beige head. Rustic aroma with wood and ashes. Full-bodied, hard roasted malts and chocolate aand again some woody accents. The finish is dry with quite some showing. A rather unusual Impy. 150509
