COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Vores første erfaring med undergær er faldet heldigt ud med denne spændende røg bock. Brygget på en god del münchner malt, som giver denne øl en fin krop og fylde til at balancere den tydelige røgmalt.

Bottle. A hazy, copper-colored beer topped by a small, beige head. Smoked, phenolic nose, meaty, and with a citric hint. Sweet, citric and bacon-smoked flavor with some alcohol warmth. Full-bodied. Alcohol and sweetness in the finish. Slightly off it seems, not very good, but also not really bad. 100327

Bottle, bought @ Tønden, Haslev.
Pours deep red-brown with a nice, staying, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, some bacon-y smoke and a bit of berries. Low carbonation, fine dry and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, powerfully smoky, fine sweet caramel. Quite dry finish with a slight peity end.

Bottle from Roskilde Øl. Amber with a little head, no lacings. Aroma moderate malty (caramel, smoke). Flavor moderate sweet and acidic/sour. Medium body. Mentioned to be sour, but I think this is the "real" taste of the beer.

Draught @ Ølfestival Valby - CBF09, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sour - acidic, smoke sequence sod. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate acidic with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090515]

Amber body. Rounded aroma of sweet malts with a peaty touch. Interesting and tasteful blend of tartness and smoked malts, Well bodied (CBF, 15.05.2009).

50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Light acidic and smoked aroma. Sweet caramel, acidic and smoked flavoured. Medium dry from back of the nose yet also with a distinct sweetness on the tip of the tongue. Leathery and light plastic smoked finish. Too strange a combo of smoke, acidity and sweetness for my liking.

On tap. Hazy amber golden with a yellowish head. Distinctly fat Bamberg smoke in the nose. Quite full-bodied with caramel and tart fruit - and again distinct smoke accents that border burned rubber. Hardly any bitterness in the finish. 150509
