COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

From bottle, blindtasting #8. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan and dense head. Mild yeasty and slight spiced aroma. Mild sweetness from the malt and slight caramelish. Mild to increasing bitterness into a rather dry and slight fruity finish. Lasting roasted malty finish, light smoked note too.

Bottle, bought @ Bjergtrolden, Roskilde.
Deep brown, bordering on black. A fin, frothy, cappucino head with fine duration. Aroma has light tart dried fruits, some sweet English liquorice and roasted, sweet malts. Medium carbonation, rather fine mouthfeel. Flavour is a little harsh with lots of roasted malts. Feels a bit unbalanced at first. Then some sweet chocolate and lots of English liquorice. Long, lingering and warming aftertaste. A bit rough, but still fine.
