downender (1616), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Apr 17, 2008 Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 17/4/08. Burnished gold colour with a moderate white head. Caramel and floral hop aromas. Slightly sweet malt flavours with some juicy hops and a decent bitter finish. Very drinkable. harrisoni (5359), Ashford, Kent, England Mar 17, 2008 Cask gravity at London Drinker BF 08. Deep gold, bubbly ivory head. Some toffee, some leafy hop. Condition could be better, but the earthy nettley hop is excellent underpinned by juicy malts. Bit of tea maybe, but otherwise a very good best bitter. Some decent malts. Peppery leafy hop, very good best bitter. SilkTork (3941), Rochester, Kent, England Oct 19, 2003 Oxford Beer Fest, Gravity Fresh. The Eastwood half of Eastwood & Saunders who has revived his own brewery under a new name. Meanwhile Eastwood & Saunders is still brewing. This is a nicely hoppy beer - fragrant & flowery with a gentle dusty bite in the finish.
