500 ml bottle shared during the festivities of Mondial week with ClarkVV and tiggmtl. Light oily gold, little head or lace...grassy, corn nose...bit of dry bitter herbs, old rusty metal that becomes fairly strong towards the finish, joining the old used-up sorry-ass grassy hops...bit of corn sugar sweetness helps make it more drinkable, but not good...at all.

Ok so I’m the guy that BeerBlockaid punts one of these to. Pour is hazy apple juice color, with almost no head and not much carbonation. Aroma is sweet and faint. I would have never guessed pilsener if I didnt know, tasted more like a cheap malt liquor. Sweet and corn. Not awful but not good either. Reminds me of some of my early attempts at homebrew.

(bottle) Pale golden colour with a small frothy white head, fast diminishing. Weak aroma of grassy hops, malts and cardboard. The taste is even worse: light taste of toasted malts with some hops in the sweet and short grainy finish, but most of all cardboard.

Grassy herbal hops are chased away by creamed corn in the aroma. Oliy liquid gold with low but lasting whited head. Cabbagey sugar water with copper-like/iron tasting after-taste that sticks to the tongue. Light body with watery texture and moderate carbonation. Asparagus urine? I don’t remember saying that, but it sounds like something I might say and it sure seems appropriate. Bottle (LCBO, May-2005) sampled with ClarkVV and muzzlehatch.

2004 or 2005 bottle provided by Tiggmtl and shared with him and Muzzlehatch, 6/3/2005. Clear, faded gold leaf body (aspargus urine as tiggmtl says). One-finger of white head recedes to cover. Aroma has grassy hops initially, but dies off quickly and I never find it again. It is soon replaced with corn flowers. Flavor is rusty, powdered sugar, bitter metal. Nasty corn-syrup sweetness. Metal lingers, almost sour on the end. Low to moderate carbonation. Very dry and stale beer, with a heavily filtered, bubbly, mouthfeel.

Tried a bottle at the Polish Festival in Baltimore over the weekend. They poured the bottle into a plastic cup. Mild (good) Euro-lager smell; tasted very fresh (imported for the festival?). Color is golden to light brown; taste was more "lager" than "pilsner," with a good mix of malt & hops in the flavor. Refreshing mouthful, a bit more body than most; with nice carbonation. As it warmed in the cup (hot day), it still tasted great. I’d like to be able to find it again!!

Apple juice in colour and a small white fizzy head. Taste is slightly apple, like the NFULL from Poland. Overall grainy/corn taste. Nothing here but figured i’d give it a shot. I prefer this new Okocim i snagged, but well.......5 more bottles to go. damn 6 pack. Perhaps I can punt this off to some mates.

INOS #3. I’m started to feel a little like Bill Bixby now....fizzy pale white head. Slightly skunky aroma. Horrible bottle taste. Corn city! Awful, worst by far, so far.
