Sept, 2002 Elbrewery is Poland’s largest brewer, though it is owned by Heineken. EB is one of the best selling brands in Poland. Truly awful! Thin, metallic, greasy, like the watered down oil from a second hand moped. [1.2]

11.2 oz bottle, just past it’s due date, should be ok. Pours into my Stawski mug a honey-golden color with a big bright white head, slightly soapy looking, which quickly recedes with not much lacing. It has a distinct smell, with a big hit of pale malts that are lightly sweet and some herbal, medicinal hops as well. The taste is decently sweet with a mild bitter hop bite. It is pretty standard. The mouthfeel is a bit off, that could be due to the age. Overall it is a run of the mill Polish pale lager, not bad but not amazing. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 02-28-2010 18:55:40

Pour from a 500ml bottle. Light golden color with white head. Light aroma of grassy hops with some mineral overtones. Simple flavor profile - light sweet malts with a simple bit of hops bitter in the finish. Dry finish with some mineral overtones. I don’t tast any adjuncts - rice, corn, newspaper, whatever - in this, so I’d rate it a cut above many mainstream pale lagers. Overall, a nice brew that is very quaffable, but also rather forgettable.

My first Polish beer. Very underwhelming. It is very oily going down and its taste is nothing to write home about: slightly bitter and very hoppy.

50cl bottle, trade with fonefan. 5.2% version. clear yellow, smooth white head. goes away fast but starts huge, and looks pretty all the way. aroma is dry malty, but also sort of dry hoppy fruity, aroma is like a refreshing and good macro guldbajer. flavor is sweet flowery, faint sweet malty, not very well balanced with too little bitter hops in the end.comes off as a pretty sweet beer, even though it is actually rather dry. too sweet.
