Bottle in Florida. Poured clear pale color with a large frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate grass hop and sour citrus aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Light sweet flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20 Boutip (3294) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 15, 2006
Bottle: Poured a golden color lager with a medium head that disappeared a tad too quickly. Aroma of malt with some very subtle sweet floral notes. Taste is quite bland with some average sweet malt and no hops that are easily distinguishable. I can’t believe that this is a pilsner – I would never had guess from drinking this below average beer.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 TheJester (1230) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 6, 2006
500 mL bottle. Rather yellow. Mild aroma - sorta like apple cider, only sweeter. Almost no head. Flavour is a lot of corn, an bit of grains. Some mild sweetness nearer the end. Finishes more flat than bitter. Quite crisp and refreshing, as long as it’s cold.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 JorisPPattyn (6426) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - JUN 20, 2006
Small, slightly irregular white head over pale, metallic-golden beer. Outspoken grainy nose, as a sac of horse fodder old style, or a particulary nasty insular breakfast item. Toasted, I suppose. Same flavour as smell, it gets a greenery hint which makes the breakfast connection even more plausible - the British one, I mean. Raw malts, greenmalts obviously. Still, it’s a shock that you adapt to. I catch myself nipping and nipping again - did it really...? Burning MF, light to medium bodied, slight grist slickness. Not going to be my favourite. It’s... original...
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 GG (1980) - NorCal, California, USA - MAR 12, 2006
First beer of the evening at our March tasting. Pour was golden in color, with minimal head. Aroma was metallic (odd from a bottle) and very sulphur. Very mild in taste, so nothing really overwhelming here. Below average beer but still not too bad.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Dorwart (2107) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - JAN 9, 2006
Decent sized rbight whit ehead of fine bubbles. Nit frothy on top. Decent carbonation. Bring on the skunks! Cardboard, corn and adjunct in the aroma. Color is a pale gold. Knd of a soda bubble effect in the glass. Yep, just as expected. Corn and adjunct in the flavor. Do people actually drink this crap. Finish is clean and s;ighjtly hoppy. Don’t bother.

Bottle from the <a
href=http://www.lcbo.com target=blank>LCBO in Peterborough. Light golden in colour, thin dissipating white head, thin lace. The aroma was rather floral with some corn syrup, slightly sweet, a bit grainy. The flavour is of corn, grains, some alcohol, quite sweet. Floral hop mouthfeel, light body, high carbonation. Finishes sweet, mild length.
