Metalchopz (1428) - Quebec, CANADA - APR 4, 2012
Originally rated March 2005. Pours a light golden-yellow with a white head that leaves lacing and a layer over the brew. The nose is very grassy with traces of malts. The mouthfeel is quite creamy and smooth. The taste is crisp with the sweet malt and then a bite from the hop and its bitterness. Quite refreshing. If you are a pilsner fan, I strongly recommend this one.

.5L can from Timer’s Beverage here in wonderous Racine - the belle of the lake, urp! Polish Beer! Ok...not really too bad. Polish pop top, broke off on three of the four cans...no panic - able to push the tab in to get at the goods. Aroma and taste is initially sweet, then malty with whisper of hops. Head, taste and finish fade into the night. What would Lech say! Hey - it looks like beer, tastes like beer, and so much better than the mass produced lagers out there. So, go Polish! Get out your Bobby Vinton LP’s. Tell your significant other to unpack the blue velvet Frederick’s of Hollywood tease set. And start dancing. Work up a sweat! Pop an EB or two with Miss Blue Velvet and make the evening fun..."She wore blue velvet...bluer than velvet was the night..." Prosit!

berkshirejohn (3020) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 1, 2012
50cl bottle from the Wine Compnay, Slough, labelled as EB Special. According to the label this is "The only Pils brewed in Poland that you can’t buy in Poland. Triple filtered for a fresh, crisp taste and exclusively for the UK." - but otherwise it seems to match this listing pretty well.

It’s a straw colour with a white head that rapidly fades; sweet corn syrup aroma; thin with a predominantly caramel flavour and a somewhate herbal finish. Drinkable, not not entirely pleasant.

Idiosynkrasie (536) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JAN 22, 2012
500ml bottle. Clear pale yellow with small frothy white head. Faint aroma, bitter hop and some bread-like malt. Watery, dry taste on the edge to soapyness. Doesn’t make appetite to empty the whole bottle without real thirst.

Scrapersnbeer (459) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - DEC 13, 2011
Pale golden color. Well carbonated, but head doesn’t last. Grassy, adjunct laden aroma. Tastes like cheapo wine and metal tank lining. Definitely biting. Average lager all around.

Suttree (3926) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - MAR 26, 2011
Dark gold, loose, white, quickly dissipating head. Grainy, grassy, lightly corny aroma. Flavor is kinda fruity - grapes? I’m gonna say grapes. Grainy and grassy, as well. Not bad.
