Radek Kliber (3284), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 25, 2002 It was my best till today. I had 2 of them to make sure that quality went down. Sadly it did. Still it’s good pilsner with good taste. No longer top notch. I am sad :(
Eructoblaster (1252), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Jul 5, 2008 Bottle - 500ml. Golden body with average carbonation and fair white foamy/creamy head. Weak malty/hoppy aroma. Boring hoppy taste with some malty/bready hints. Ends with a short bitter finish. sir_Pino (517), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland May 17, 2008 Rated: 14.07.2007
Bottle brown, 500 ml, extract of wort 12,5%
Appearance: Pours yellow or yellowish, vety clear. Light golden colour of the body, carbonation is medium when you wait a while but initially is strong, body looks medium and wattery. Head is frothy and snowy white, regular in structure with fair lacing and is alowly diminishing but exist still through the drinking. Body is clear and teansparent.
Aroma: The beer is generally quite aromatic as for a lager premium one - this asample really, a little hoppyness in aroma, quite refreshing, yeast, dough, citruses, lemon, a little bit alcohol, some hints of wood, a little bit honey, generally very nice, strong aroma, aome hints of malted barley, a little bit of cream, mild sweetness. At finish micro hint of hen’s feaces due to hops being worm.
Flavour: First sip when you’ ve got beer in your mouth and starts to awallow it, it seems wattery, light, than comes hoppy nose followed by nice mild malted barley sweetness well balanced with some alcohol warmth on palate. Beer generally is rather more sweet. There are hops which contribute more to freshness then the bitterness but through out a beer your palate becomes a bit dry ( in a nice way, no skunky or parched). I can feelsome resemblanceto the medium quality Bohemian Pilsener, water, hops and malted barley are of good quality, carboantion is mild. The beer is drinkable and easy going. Alcohol is like for a strong beer but is very well build in. Grainy, well blended but a bit wattery.
Palate: Finish is chalky, mild malty, barly, grainy, hoppy nose, hints of very nice alcohol warmth on palate. Finish is rather short. Light alcoholic. Carbonation on palate is flat. Texture is wattery. Nice in generall.
