Black hazy body and a dark brown hazy head. Nice creamy "micro brew" texture. Aroma of espresso coffee, dark chocolate. Lots of taste. A really well balanced taste. Heavy sweet and very light bitterness.

33cl bottle fresh from source, ved telten 08/2015. Pours thinner than expected, mild coffee and brown shoe sole. Mild impression of standard aromas of chocolate and espresso, some hazelnut. Taste as well is organically mild, with no prominently composed flavours to take centre stage, or a yeast profile to make up for it. Lacking mouthfeel and much character to justify its strength. A step up from ghastly old school Refsvindinge (Bedste)Mors Stout in ingredients, yet still oddly unsatisfying for a 8% ImpStout.

Bottle Damn Dark stout V. Almost black colour and beige head. Aroma and taste of hard roasted malts, Dark chocolate and espresso. Soft carbonation and short finish for the type.

Flaske: Brunsort klar øl med et kæmpe skumhoved. For livlig karbonering ødelægger en del. Ellers ordinær stout med en smule lakrids. Typisk engelsk. Kedelig.

0.33 bottle as Damn Dark Stout V. Black color and a big, beige head. Aroma of dark malts, licorice, toast, smoke, and some coffee. Taste is also sweet, malty, again licorice, some toast, dark chocolate, roasted malts. Full body, creamy texture, and average carbonation. Finish is quite long and a little bit astringent but not especially. Overall a nice brew, though it leaves an impression it owes more to the style than an actual brewing craft.

Bottled, vers. V. Pours deep, dark broen with a huge fluffy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt. chocolate, coffee and licorice notea. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry with bitter notes. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft to average carbonation. A nice and smooth Impy.
