UPDATED: MAY 12, 2013 (33 cl bottle from Piaf Silkeborg; Bbd: April 3rd 2016; Batch #163) Pours a hazy dark copper with little, off-white head that recedes quickly. Aroma is malty with hints of syrup, molasses and a whiff of dark fruit and oxidation. Soft carbonation, medium to full body, oily texture and a sweet finish. Flavour is mostly sweet with notes of dark/rotten fruit. Quite sweet and perhaps bordering on being too sweet for me. Too simple for the ABV frankly.

Dark brown and clear. Has a light brown head, lasting. Dark aroma, chocolate, lactic acid, sweet sugars and some yeasty notes. Flavor starts heavy sweet, has a real nice, deep sweetness, harmonic with a moderate bitter finish. Long duration. Creamy texture and soft carbonation.

Bottle sample at a tasting at our place. Thanks DSG. Pours murky muddy brown with tan film. Ripe fruit, flower-honey aroma. A little roasty, flower and fruity taste, also melted caramel. Smooth, delicate carbonation, slightly dry but also fruity finish. Very good.

Bottle shared at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks Hansen & Zita for this bottle! Murky brown. Aroma of dark fruits liqueur, chocolate, and a bit of alcohol and roasted malt. Sweetish flavor with dark malt, a bit roasty, with dark fruits, some chocolate, caramel and a bit of alcohol. Medium-bodied. Not bad.
