COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Urpilsneren stammer fra Ebeltoft. Det ved enhver. Den skal være ædel, aromatisk og med en mærkbar snert af humle. En ægte gaardpilsner er forfriskende og stimulerende.

Off white head, golden body straw toned, crocheted lacings. Aroma; grass, malts, apple, hints of smoke. Taste; grassy juicy hops, sweet malts, smokey tones, dark bread, bitter comes after a while, some butter butterscotch notes. Nice body, ok on palate. Finishes with bread, malt, wood, bitter, lingering finish. Good pilsener. [33cl br btl abv5.2%, B@YNWA BeerShop Kolding, T@Middelfart Fyn DK]

Bottle. 5.2%. Best before 01.07.14. Pours a cloudy yellow with a white head. Bit of lacing. Sweet aroma; fruity, cereals, hint of citrus. Light malt note and a grainy note as it warms. A bit cloying. Flavour is sweetish and fruity, with cereals and hints of apple. Grainy as it warms. Finish is grainy, a bit tart and with a mild alcohol burn. Hops as it warms. Lingering dry note. Decent soft palate. Overall so-so; not bad, but somewhat unbalanced, too fruity and not enough hops. 01.07.14.

Tap at The Lord Nelson, Copenhagen. Poured a clear straw colour with a thin white head and some broken lace. The aroma is creamy toffee malt. The flavour is light bigger with a malty earthy mineral palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. It’s all about the malt....

Draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen. Clear golden beer with a decent offwhite head. Malty caramel aroma, honey, fruity, toffee notes. Honey flavor, toffee, butter, grassy notes. Not My kind of pilsener.

Bottle. It pours a clear, golden body under a small, white head. The aroma has pine cones and some resins. A pleasant bitterness in the flavor, with hay, grass and a little sweetness. Medium body, dry and with a pleasant carbonation. Bitter finish with hay, pine cones and grass. A quite decent one, but sort of boring anyway. 140426
