Botled. Pours clear, mahagony with an average sized, beige head. Nose of toasted malt and nuts. Sweet flavour with slightly roasted malt. nuts, caramel and fruit notes. Medium bodied, creamy to oily texture and soft carbonation. Ends up more dry and with a tiny bitterness.

Medium brown head. Clear deep dark red body. Roasty earthy caramel aroma with dusty fruity toffee notes. Vivid, clear, and harmonic. Dry-sweet roasty caramelly taste with wooden lacquer and toffee notes. Also great dusty earthy character. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dry minty earthy aftertaste with coffee grounds and spice notes. Lovely! Vivid, clear, and harmonic. A great beer. (0.33l bottle, purchased at the brewery. Batch #129. Bottle says 6.8%.)

33 cl. bottle purchased at the brewery. Rating is also based on sample at the brewery. Red-brown, slightly hazy colour with a lasting, off-white head. Aroma is malts, light roasted, chocolate and some herbs. Light sweetness in taste. Average carbonation with a good mouthfeel. Finish could be longer. I like the mixture of the herbs and the sweet malts - chocolate in this one. Good, not outstanding.

Bottled. A hazy brown-orange beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has strong notes of spices - some odd ones including licorice root, combined with medium notes of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and spices combined with a light edge of something burnt.

Bottle. clear red amber, smooth light brown head. slightly grassy bitter hoppy aroma, malts, dry caramel.like a traditional ale with some american hops thrown in. flavor is slightly spicy sourish, sweet dry caramelly, flowery hoppy, ends with a good dose of malty bitterness.. Not sure if the slight sourness is intended, but it do make the beer more interesting, it is a sort of smooth velvety sourness that matches the other flavors well.

Bottle. Brown - orange colour with a beige head. Aoma is fruit, malt, caramel. Flavour is fruit, malt, hop, caramel, berries, sourness. Medium body. OK beer.

Bottle, #47, from trade with Papsoe. It’s a hazy, dark orange-golden beer with a creamy, finger-thick beige head that lasts. Caramel, some sourness, syrupy fruityness and some sweet alcohol on the nose. The flavor is sweet and caramel-ish with dried fruits, some alcohol and a hint of higher alcohols. A bit too warming, full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated. Not really sure about this one, it feels a bit unclean, but might be better when not drank in rating-mode. 090919

Medium amber colour and clear. Has an off-white head, mostly lasting. Aroma has notes of caramel/molasses. Flavor is moderate sweet. Dry, watery texture.

From Havnens Vin, Vejle, DK. Bottled, 200909. Amber with white head. Aroma of malt and fruit. Flavor of caramel and some hop spice note.

Bottle. Clear amber colour with a small white head. rich malty aroma and taste iwth notes of fruits and caramel and a semi hoppy finish.
