Draft at the brewery in Ebensfeld. Clear pale gold with a medium-sized white head with decent retention. Light bodied, effervescent, watery and quiet, tasting of lightly kilned grain and bartlett pear and toasted crackers and a bit of DMS that smells like metal and cabbage. It’s bubbly and quenching and at cold temperatures it’s an easy quaffer, but there’s no malt intrigue and the hops are only bittering and don’t provide much flavor or aroma.

Moravius (1130) - Berlin, GERMANY - JAN 21, 2015

Bottle from Rewe in Ebensfeld drunk on the train to Brussels. Clear pale gold lasting white head. Ok pils. By Franconia standards middle of the road by other so called pils streets ahead. Some noble hop perfume. Decent. Not particularly bitter but full in the mouth. Good though

50 cl bottle as ”Ebensfelder Brauhaus Edel Pilsener Brauart”. Rated on 18.11.2009
Bright yellow colour, disappearing head. Aroma is light with some grainy malt, honey and hints of vegetables. Palate is too low on CO2. Flavour has grainy malt, some corn and honey. Sticky finish. Drinkable.
