Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor has notes of minerals, straw, and malt, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing and Timo for bringing it to Denmark.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts mild-spicy, wheaty. The finish is more hoppy and a bit drier. Good beer!

rauchbier (3655) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2004
Bottle, from Vroni’s in Bamberg. Deep gold, moderate white head and good condition. Good grassy hop dominant in the nose with some sweet malt floating around just beneath the surface. Sweet fruity malt and delicate but solid hoppiness in the mouth with caramel becoming apparent as it warmed. PLeasant sweet malt and chalky hop bitterness in the finish.
