(bottle) pours a clear dark copper colour with a frothy beige head. aroma of roasted malts, cherries, vanilla and herbal hops, slightly musty in a good way. flavour is mostly toasted grainy malts with a hint of earth and caramel. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle @ Bamberg. Pours dark amber with a creamy head and lacings. Nose is bread, fruit and caramel. Smooth and medium bodied. Flavor is sweet - cane sugar, rye, caramel and a vague hint of metal. Decent.

The smell is very malty, slightly roasty and toffee-like. Starts with strong roasted malts, slightly bitter, with hints of caramel and toffee in background. Roasted coffee aromas in the finish! Great Dunkles!

Brown color; creamy head. Aroma of caramel, a bit dusty. Sweetish flavor, caramel, the final as well is lightly dusty. Correct bitterness. Easy.

Malziger Duft, toffeeartig. Antrunk süffig, malzig mit leichten Metallspuren. Gleichzeitig macht sich eine gewisse Würzigkeit bemerkbar. Gut. Feinherber Abschluß.

Bottle. Sweet lactic chocolate malt aroma. Clear dark reddish brown color with nice head. Sweet chocolate malt flavor with a light hint of grassy hops in the finish. With a little more body, this would be just about perfect. Very nice.
