3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 weaselkenievil (1093) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2008
Bottle from the Belgian Belly in Chorlton, Manchester. Cloudy orange / amber with loads of floaty bits. Not that great but certainly not that bad. Very drinkable. Slight bitter finish, slight saltiness. I didn’t dislike it at all but there are better in the style.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 OleR (3658) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 15, 2008
750 ml corked bottle from Damsgaard, Fredrikshavn. Pours slightly unclear, light brown. Low beige head. Nice toffee aroma mixed with dark fruits and spices. Taste is malty, but more sour than sweet, bordering to saltiness. Notes of caramel and fruits. Some bittering hops under the sourness. Light-bodied. Quite unfresh mouthfeel. Does not impress.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 MesandSim (7109) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 7, 2007
A Mes rate:
Cask at Baker Street ’Spoons. Pretty awful as are most things from this brewer. Typical boring spicy Beligan ale with something particularly synthetic about it and its all just pretty dire really.
