Bottled. A very dark brown beer with a lovely big thick long-lasting tan coloured head, and good lacing. The aroma is full of cinnamon together with sweet sugars and a little yeast. The taste is also spicy and full bodied, but it is oh so sweet. It has the Ecaussines character but with a ton of sugar cane thrown in. Very nice at the first taste but soon becomes tough going.

Molt curiosa. Olor acaramelada i molta acidesa en boca. Molt vinosa. Es nota que el xarop amb qué es fa agafa molt de protagonisme. Les persones clàssiques que s’abstenguin de provar-la. Interessant.

Unclear brown of color with a foamy beige head. An aroma of nuts, spice, gum, candy, malty and molasse - lots of aroma! A flavor of sweets, candy, spice and toffee.

Bottle from Swan and Rushes, Leicester. Aroma has sweet spices, Xmas cake and a slight sour edge. Flavour is initially ginger, brown sugar and a smidge of mushy apple. It dies somewhat, in a watery wash, but does give a faint reprise of maple on the finish. Fizzy in the mouth, perhaps too gassy. Slightly disappointing.

Poured dark brown with beige head and light lacing. Aromas of maple syrup and roasted malt. Taste is overly sweet with some hop bitterness in the finish. With the exception of the added sweetness this beer was suprisingly drinkable.

Bottle at DHL. Hazy brown, massive thick beige head with great retention. Aroma of vanilla, raisins. Tatse has a sweet start, then spice and molasses. Interesting.

Really don’t know what this is. The color is nice dark, but the smell and taste are simply awfull! Cherries, herbs, spices. Little above average carbonation. To me it was just a big blend of a lot of things I don’t like.

bouteille 33cl. Couleur brune/ambrée, col épais ocre. Arôme donne immédiatement place au sirop d’érable et est accompagné de malt caramel allant sur le biscuité; Houblon est discret et rajoute une touche fleuri. En bouche, notes de noisette, sucre brun et sirop d’érable. Le palais garde aussi cet aspect pain d’épice/biscuit. Bonne effervescence et une levure qui reste très active comme l’avait démontré l’ouverture de cette bouteille. Houblon tend à aller vers le pin. Fruits noirs aussi à noter une fois que la bière arrive à t° ambiante. Levure donne ce bon côté belge avec un apport original du sirop d’érable.

Bottle from Beer Temple. Dark brown with big puffy head. Nose is malty and sweet, lots of maple syrup. Taste is sweet, malty with notes of ginger. Lots of maple. Pretty good although the sweetness what overpowering.

Bottled. The aroma has caramel, dried fruits, red berries. Hazy, brown-red coloured beer with a firm, off-white head. The taste is sweet, has red berries, toffee, dried fruits. Medium bodied, light siruppy. Nice.
