Bottle. Poured a clear dark brown color with orange light shining through. The head consisted of thin soap bubbles. Distinct caramelized brown sugar, raisin, and dates in the nose. Medium bodied and sweet with lower carbonation. Flavors followed aromas.

Pours a hazy golden brownish color. Aromas of mild berries, wheat bread, and a touch of hops. Flavor is a nice balance of soft fruit flavor with malts and a crisp dry finish. I’m not big on fruit beers, but this one has a subdued flavor, not over the top.

Cloudy prune juice colored pour. Large white head that is quick to subside and leaves a small amount of lacing. Fruity aroma mixed with a yeast smell. And a bit carbonic. Sweet mouth, with a pefumy aftertaste. Decent beer. Like a Saison with prunes. Or more along the lines of plums.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours murky amber/brown with fizzy beige head. Aroma is medicinal, some funk, prune, vegetable. Flavor is much the same. Light body, fizzy carb. Overall, didn’t care for it.

Hazy amber colour with a big off- white head. Sweet proune aroma. The taste has a slight vintage touch to it. It is fruity and a tad bit too sweet.

750mL corked bottle. Poured ruby brown with pinkish hues when held up to light, smell of dried prunes, caramel malt and light aroma hops, taste of dried prunes, sweet malt, and some alcohol. Too complex for me to accurately describe all that is there.

75 cl bottle. Rated on 4.10.2008
Sweetish aroma has plums and cherries. Flavour is a bit sweetish too and it has plums and sweet malt. One weird brew, I’d say.

Plum beer doesn’t really sound like a delicacy, but this is in fact good! Sweet flavour, works better when not so chilled. Might end up on my Xmas beverage list.
