Bottle sample at a tasting at Dagan’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Hazy yellow-golden. Yeasty spicy aroma with some ginger and candies. Sweet flavor, suagry and candy-ish with some spices. Medium-bodied. Not good.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle shared at a beer tasting at Dagan’s, bought at the brewery, October 2011. Hazy blond with stuff floating in it. Spicy aroma: cinnamon, clove, ginger and nutmeg. Tastes sugary and candy-like. Long, sweet aftertaste, light body. WTF?!?

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Brown golden colour, white head, small floaties, as if they really tried to dissolve the cookies in the bottle. Aroma of cookies (speculoos), malt, cinnamon and biscuit. Sweet flavour, quite spicy. Only in the finish this beer comes together, there the speculoos and spiciness gives a nice rounded feel. Unfortunately that becomes boring rather quickly. Not too bad though, and bonus points for trying.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 5/20
33cl bottle. Hazy and orange/yellow liquid. It has a white small to medium head. Nose : it has honey and caramel malt aroma , tart and some flower notes. Quite spicy. Sip : Low carbonation. Really sweet with overwhelming tart taste. I must say that this beer has a genuine speculous (ginger bread) taste and it’s exactly what it says. Although bueeeerk ! Even though it’s a great product , it’s also a very strange beer. Good discovery , last time I drink it .

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a cloudy dark yellow colour with a small size head and insane carbonation.
Sweet aroma, as a regular eater of speculoos I can clearly distinct it there too.
Taste is also very very sweet, outright speculoos there, not much more.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy lemon yellow in the glass. Spicy Xmas aroma. Flavor was like a spicy holiday witbier. Overall, I get what the brewer was trying to do but it falls a bit short. Good concept though...

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
33cl bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a dissipating white head.
Smells of citrus and spices.
Tastes very reminiscent of a cinnamon cookie, with a hint of ginger. Exceedingly sweet, and not particularly well-balanced, but very interesting despite.

Golden colour with flakes. There is some ginger cookie taste but it doesn’t disturb. Quite ok.
