3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Maria (9632) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAR 1, 2007
If you love Bastogne cookies, you’ll love this beer too! It’s amber with a nice and lasting head. The aroma has clear notes of Bastogne cookies and cinnamon. The flavour is quite sweet and the Bastogne cookies are so dominant, that it’s like drinking them :) I liked this one, and it gets extra points for fantasy and fun.

Bottle. Hazy dark golden in colour with a large head. Oh dear no. I’m trying but so far the only word that pops up in my head is: SWEET! Oh dear oh dear. Malts, cinnamon, cloves, sugar, sugar and sugar. Not very pleasant.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jbrus (4992) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - AUG 27, 2006
Bottled. I’m not gonna judge the beer for it, but probably one of the most ugliest labels I ever saw. Sweet aroma with several spices. Hazy, yellow/dark color, off-white head, good lace. Sweet, bitter, malty and several spices (not annoying) in the flavor as well. Warming and sticky.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 maeib (7635) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - AUG 15, 2006
Bottled - Criterion Leicester. A light blonde coloured beer with a nice white head and decent lacing. The aroma is spicy and lemony and heavy sweetness. The taste is also very sweet, like a lot of ecaussines beers are. This also has the house yeast taste and a little peppery hop. Nice enough but I’m tiring a little of the sweetness of these beers.
