Bottle. Pours slightly hazy copper brown with airy beige head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel and alcohol. Sweet, fruity and malty flavour with spicy notes and a touch of metal. Dryish finish. OK.

Bottle, 8%. Tart aroma, sweet and fruity. Almost clear dark brown colour. Small stable creamy light brown head.The flavour is sweet and spicy, has some cookie, a hint of metal. The finish is quite roasted and even more spicy. Nice and flavourful and without any big flaws.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, opaque brown colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Yeasty, dark malty and berry-fruity aroma with hints of caramel and strong notes of cinnamon and other x-mas spices. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a modest carbonation. Dark malty base with notes of dried fruits, caramel, chocolate and a strong spicy touch; moderately sweet malty and mildly fruity finish, again with loads of spices, but a well-covered alcohol. A tad too spicy for my liking, but it might work as a simple Christmas brew. 8.I.13

33cl bottle. Completely hazy and brown liquid with small, lightly tanned head. Nose : tart, cheese, cherries, cooked plums and cherries, dried plums, clove and pepper, toast with jam. Sip : medium body with very smooth texture, low carbonation. Sweet with dried fruits flavor, some tart and caramel. The taste is quite delicate, dominated by the smooth quality of the brew. I like smooth beers. The ending is still sweet and flavored by cooked fruits like cherries and plums. It leaves a little spicy feeling on the tongue. Overall this beer is delicate but it gains it’s interest by having a very nice feeling in the mouth and while swallowing. Yes! It matters a lot.
