Tap @ Popeyes...Honeyish and aromatic aroma. Pretty amber with a golden cream. Light sweet sticky, but generally good balance. Chewy body, mellow mouthfeel. Very drinkable.

UPDATED: MAY 31, 2010 Draught at their brewpub. Nice and earthy amber ale. From their non-pasteurized bottle: 6/3/7/2/14. Pricey. A rather thin-looking amber color. Malty aroma that is far too faint, with notes of citrus and tobacco. Nice but not enough of it. The same for the flavor, which is rather complex in its malts, but it is just too weak and fades too quickly in the middle palate. There is some tobacco and nuts, and lots of caramel, plus a bit of citrus from the hops, of which the amount is good. The palate was also too light. Good, complex malt, just give us more of it!
