Small offwhite head. Slightly hazy amber body. Light tropical fruit aroma. Bitter resiny honey taste with tropical fruit hops notes. Some roastiness. Also some tobacco, as though it’s been aged. Bitter honey aftertaste. Marvellous. (0.25l draft.)

On draught at Popeyes in Tokyo. First if you are a beer lover and frequent Tokyo make sure you hit Popeyes. Next... the beer, serious IBUs but somehow they don’t seem to be over the top like a big west coast DIPA. It’s my favorite when it Tokyo, well balanced, nicely hopped, and very good looking. Substantial and weighty mouthfeel... a great cure for weary travelers jetlag.

Dark amber color. Fresh piney hops, balanced with a sweet malty nose. Full bodied. Malty start, but decently balanced with piney hop flavors. Mouth is malty sweet. The finish has some subtle bitterness and the hops do linger around for a bit, but I like my Imperial IPAs with a bigger badder bitter finish.
