3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle at a sushi place in Sebastopol. Pours light yellow with a thin white head, no lace. Smells sweet and grainy almost like corn but its probably rice. Tastes sweet and malty with lots of cereal flavors. Thin body, crisp carbonation.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
This is a very light, but pretty good rice lager. It’s slightly pale golden yellow with a smallish white head that slowly shrinks o lvea no real lace. The aroma is light grain, it’s a bit grassy, with hints of herbas and sulphur, and slightly funky. The taste is light with grain barely dominated by grassy, faintly herbal bitter hops, giving a faint German quality to the character. It’s a bit watery and thin, but decent, rather like a German pilsner mixed with watered-down Moosehead lager. It’s clean with brief aftertaste.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
500ml Bottle - Honolulu, Hawaii
Aroma – Very skunky aroma way too much time in the bottle.
Appearance – Light golden in color, light white head and clear.
Flavor – Had a very pale flavor and very light struck. Skunky throughout the flavor.
Palate – Decent Mouthfeel, OK texture with a dry bland finish.
Overall – Just sat way too long and tasted like crap. Not my type of brew. This had no flavor and was way too watery and an over produced mass beer.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
500 ml bottle. Pours a crystal clear yellow with a medium white head. The aroma is pretty crisp and clean with a distinct straw/hay note. Flavor is a standard malty sweet with a bit of grassy hop. The finish is almost clean with a tiny bit of a tiny aftertaste.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Rather sweet aroma, but the flavor is not too sweet at all. Light hay-like flavor is decent. OK beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Goldish yellow color with medium white head. Aromas of straw, banana, and sweet malt. Highly carbonated, with flavors of banana pudding, hay, and sweet malt. Finish has a touch of bitter hops that balances the entire experience. Quite good.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a three finger white head that fades quickly and leaving traces of lace. Clear pale amber color. Light-medium carbonation and light-medium bodied. Sweet grassy nose. Flavor is sweet, light, good lawn mower beer. Clean finish. Pricey at $6.95 for a 500ml bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
500 mL bottle. Straw color with a white fizzy head. Lots of bubble columns but no retention or lacing.
Aroma is mostly adjuncts with a touch of hops and a touch of fruitiness.
Taste is pilsener-esque with a noticeable riciness. Adjunct sweetish malt with a little herbal hoppiness but not much.
Mouthfeel is delicate if not thin. Highly effervescent. Really clean on the palate but that’s just a result of the lack of flavor. Drinkable but not that enjoyable.

2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Golden, bright. A few bubbles. No head. The aroma is appley for the most part. Clean, vague malts and strawlike palate. Balanced but boring, save a handful of minor flaws.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
bottle, pale golden color, this is supposed to be made with the award winning rice harvest in the area of the brewery or at least that’s how they justify the premium, essentially the same as Ichiban, maybe a little better
