COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
(Translated from the Japanese on the can) We’ve used the delicious water and Koshihikari rice that Niigata’s nature has provided and made this in a German-style decoction mash. This is a dry beer with a crisp palate and finish.

500ml bottle. Very much your typical pale lager with a thin looking amber body and a sudsy pure white head of foam. Straw and hay aromas with nt much happening in he flavour department.

It’s a lager. Little else to say. Light malts, a bit of sweetness. Refreshing but not too memorable.

Location: Bottle at The General, 8/30/14

Aroma: The aroma is similar to most pale lagers, slightly sweeter, light hop, notes of rice
Appearance: It pours a golden-orange color with a fairly small head and light lace
Flavor: The flavor is light as well, with a bit of sweetness, and a mild bitterness
Palate: The body is light with plenty of carbonation, not as watery as many of the pale lagers around
Overall Impression: I thought this was a pretty decent example example of a pale lager. It has more flavor than many in the style, and comes off as less watery as well. Not a great beer, but you could do a lot worse.

Pleasant aroma of grain malt, caramel, subtle hops and biscuit. Appears gold with no foam. Taste is malty sweetness, creamy caramel, biscuit malt and toasted grains. Overall, very simple yet refreshing. Tastes very similar to Kirin Ichiban.

Pours from 500ml bottle a pale golden with a creamy lasting head. Aroma is grass, rice, and a hint of honey. Taste is the same with a crisp finish. Soft body and medium carbonation. Good with sushi.

świeży zielony zapach - zioła, chmiel, słoma, trawa. odrobinę drożdży i karmelu. dość słodowy. kolor złoty, lekko zmętniony, piana obfita, dość trwała. w smaku wytrawny, ale wcale nie wodnisty. na pierwszy plan wychodzi przyjemna, średnia i mocno wyczuwalna goryczka - zioła, trawa. pozostawia ciekawy, trudny do określenia posmak. trochę jak woda po płukaniu ryżu, lekko słodki, lekko mączny. dość aksamitne i gładkie mimo wysokiego nasycenia. zdecydowanie ciekawe i warte polecenia piwo.

Pale golden. Small white head. Not much to the aroma. Grain. Light honey sweetness. Some corn. Flavor fairs a little better. Pleasant sweetness with some character. Light and easy drinking. Not bad.

This is a good one especially for Asian food! It makes taste it better! It is truly a craft beer and very rare.

Light, honey tea aroma. Exotic label. Misty, pale pale yellow with no head. Sweet, dilute honey flavor, no bitterness, light vanilla. Undercarbonated, watery, limp, thin body. Thanks to an anonymous Ratebeerian, from his/her stash, downstairs at Proof.

Plechovka. Zlatá farba, pena biela, ale nevyrazna. Vona sladova, kukuricna. V pozadi brokolica, alebo ina dusena zelenina. Zleeeeeeee.
