bottle from pivnizub. Amber-brown colour, cloudy, large off-white head. Wheaty, yeasty and sligtly fruity. Ok.

Bottle (purchased at the former brewery in Oberaudorf): Light amber coloured, lively carbonation, smaller stable white loose head; sourish-wheaty nose with vegetables underneath plus a clovey tinge; light bodied, softer, sweetish-sourish flavour, accompanied by a slight bitterness; short, bland, tart-sourish finish plus - again - a slight bitterness in the aftertaste. Not convincing, odd aromas....

(bottle) Cloudy, light-amber colour with a big but loose off-white foamy head. Slightly sour-fruity (ripe citrus) and wheaty aroma with a touch of banana and present clovy spice. Quite sour and bitter-tart flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Citrus-fruity wheaty taste with rather harsh bitter-tart and clovy notes towards the finish. Not an overly exciting Ur-Weisse, somewhat refreshing though. 21.VIII.11

Thank you Masn/g2b.dk for this rare treat! It’s golden and hazy with a very small and quickly disappearing head and a very flat mouthfeel. The aroma is sourish with light notes of fruit/banana and hints of caramel. The flavour is very like fresh lemon juice with hints of vinegar and the weiss notes are very subdued. The overall impression is a beer with too little to offer, but it’s my guess that this bottle isn’t as it’s supposed to be... 2479
