1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 lithy (2995) - Pittsburgh, USA - JUN 22, 2009
Light yellow with a very quick fizzy white head that leaves only a ring. Aroma of thin adjunct lager. Taste is much the same, steel, corn, a bit syrupy and cloying.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Block (864) - West Lafayette, Indiana, USA - MAR 28, 2011
Light and refreshing. More malt character than some others I’ve had from the area. Decent balance between the sweeter malts and dryer pale malts. Still very light which is fitting for the setting.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 phaleslu (3544) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - FEB 23, 2011
100th pale lager rating- hooray? 12 oz. bottle brought to The Royale by 618brews- thanks, Kid! His mom brought this back from the Bahamas and he was nice enough to share it. Pours a clear, pale yellow-gold with a small, creamy white head. Aroma of grass, straw, corn, dry cereal grains- especially wheat- and sugar. The flavor is exactly the same, with some pale and bready malts. Light-bodied, with a dry, sweet, grainy mouthfeel and soft carbonation. No skunk to be found. For a Central American pale lager, you could do a lot worse.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 jstraw (1211) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 26, 2011
Golden with big, foaming, white, and dissapating head / Nose of bread, honey, and grain / Light to medium body, fizzy but soft carbonation, fat as lacking sufficient hopping / Simple, clean flavors of honey and grain, with odd medicinal aftertaste / Below average.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 presario (4133) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 31, 2010
Bottle in Freeport. Light malt flavour with a bit of caramel. Smooth and clean like a malty light beer.
