3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Nice, hoppy and not overbearing winter brew. Hoppy aroma and a golden color to accent the overall pleasing palate.

Bottle from 16 Tons Taphouse, Eugene. Pours a bright golden orange, moderate amount of off-white head. Aroma sweet, caramel, toffee, some resin. Medium-lively body, finish bright and crisp, some spice. Really nice.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Ecliptic. Colour...light amber with a thin ecru head. Nose...dry earth and dusty hops. Palate...lightly bitter with hops up front and a smattering of toffee chips. Mid palate thereís a somewhat oily characteristic but not in a bad way, and then the chinooks really make their presence known! The finish is quite hoppy and has hints of orange pekoe tea and cedar box.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber from Belmont. Pours a clear dark copper color with a large off-white head. Lots of lacing. The aroma is big herbal tea, oranges, caramel. The flavor is slightly yeasty, some caramel, spices, malt forward, oranges, light bitterness. Very earthy and smooth. Almost woody. Good, but not what many will expect from a IPA.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle from belmont station-- sawdust, malt vinegar & caramel aromas, clear yellow orange under modest off white head, shifting flavor balance, the parts donít blend but they do, woodsy hops and caramel, with smoke, lemon and black pepper.. full spectrum on the pallet & in the finish. A lot of media praise for this new brewery.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz bottled on 12/09/13 - I havenít been very excited about anything Iíve tasted from Ecliptic so far so Iím hoping this bottle would change that. Like most of Ecliptic beers Filament drinks really malty and sweet with spicy bitter hops in the finish. This beer was bottled two days ago! The fresh aroma and flavors of honeycrisp apples, rosemary, pepper, and deep citrus are pleasant. Filament is a well made IPA but in a flooded market of hoppy beers I would not buy this again.

On draught at Ecliptic Brewing. Clear golden color with fizzy bubbles. Aroma is citrus hops and light sweet malts. Taste is honey, caramel malts, orange and other citrus. Hops and malts are very well-balanced with hardly any bitterness on the finish.
