COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Spica is the brightest star in the constellation Virgo. This Lager is brewed in the Un-filtered Kellerbier style. Pale malt is used exclusively to give the beer a nice malt body and light golden color. Sterling hops add a rich herbal character. The yeast left in the beer works with the hops to add a nice spicy flavor.

Pint in "b2 taphouse" in S.Salem. $4.00 very slightly hazy golden beer with a small white head. Aroma a good mix of caramel, almost chewy malt and fresh soicy and herbal hop quality. Smooth balanced flavor with the hops just about winning out. Nice smooth mouth feel medium carbonation Good beer here.

Cloudy yellow. Citrus bitter, orange and lemon zest. Very dry and a bit too much of bitter finish for my tastes. Seems closer to a pils to me. Overall it was something different and unexpected, worth trying once.

Smooth light malt aromas. Thin layer of head clear straw yellow body. Wheat flavor that blends into oils malt. The entire flavor hits together in the aftertaste.

[2/26/15] Draught at Ecliptic Brewing in Portland. Cloudy yellow. Aroma of yeast, somewhat vegetal, and light herbal hops. Flavor has bit of sweetish bready malt, yeast and a bit of herbal hops bitterness. Rather light-bodied.

Bottle. Pours a mostly clear light copper color with a moderate off-white head on there. Nose is pretty light, filled with grains, and not particularly interesting. Taste is heavy on the grains and seems thicker than usual, without anything particularly redeeming about the beer. Meh.

Pours a slightly hazy golden with about a finger of white head. Aroma is faint with slight floral hop notes and a little spice. Flavors of Belgian yeast come through with hints of wheat and floral hops. Very refreshing hybrid of the two styles. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Almost no aroma, avg head, just a little cloudy but still a nice golden. A little too bitter at the end but not bad
