Strange but nice to drink. Quite unfiltered and a little bit looks like a weizen. Not so nasty as most lightr ones and quite crafty in some aspects.

Weird label, skull and all. just goes to show you that skull is nothing special anymore, just a decoration for some new gen. Pour is typical pale yellow lager. Smell has some hints of blast furnace slag or my gramma’s permanent hair treatment. Taste initially comes across somewhat mildy sour or tart, wierd for a lager. Mild and easy going, some hay, some green grass but very little if any offensive attributes. Comes across relatively easy to drink and may be a good session brew, not bad for a lager lover. Finish has a very mild pilsner bite that is just barely detectable. Not bad, overall beer experience was pleasant and well adjusted.

nuplastikk (4269) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 27, 2010
12oz bottle. Hazy yellowish-orange with a thin white head. Buttery sweet aroma. Smooth and malty, some odd mild butterscotch, butter off flavors. Balanced by some faint lemon hops. Insipid at best, doesn’t really have a light feel to it, just hollow and devoid of quality. Not the worst of the worst, but still a joke of a beer.

10 July 2014, bottle. pale yellow, almost looks like dirty water. nose is sickly sweet straw malt and some lemon juice notes. med body and mildly fizzy. very sweet, fermenting bread. ugh.

Sampled at Slutfest 2.0. Clear light yellow pour. Corny thin usual light beer swill. but not as bad as others. i’d put this on the level of budlight, and a hell of a lot cooler label.

Single bottle, 99¢ at Binny’s. I guess Ed Hardy’s attitude about self-exploitation is the same as Krusty the Klown. "I don’t care about quality if it costs me money!" From the slapdash layout of the label image to the side text that looks like the instructions to a cheap Chinese watch, this just screams out to teenagers and the cougars who stalk them. There was an initial whiff of malt at pouring, but in the glass it’s just more alcoholic corn syrup. I am going to say this: the taste does have some zing to it. Instead of corn adjunct, I catch some malt to it, but then a slight skunk and adjunct return to the nose. Not that bad, in fact, but I’d never have if not for a tick.

Bottle from the guys at Gingerman Fort Worth. No appearance. My notes have only the phrase, "It is the nothing."

marcus (6318) - Sacramento, California, USA - NOV 28, 2010
Pours clear yellow with a massive white head and a nondescript aroma. There is a thin very pale malt flavor with little taste to it and a watery slightly bitter finish.

(Rating #3684)
