3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Straight from the can to my mouth, so lets just give it a 3 for appearance.resious pine needle bomb. A little husky grain and caramel sweetness action in the nose, but for the most part the beer’s character is dominated by sticky sappy pine needle hop oils, etc. Typical resin bomb. Meh, not my thing, but better than most of the ’nano’ canned ipas of recent. Certainly better than that rye diacytal bullshit Renegade canned. At least this is fairly clean, no low fill, and properly carbonated. Overall, crank yanker isn’t bad just boring, not my kinda hop action.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not bad. Had a sorta weird, musky smell, but it’s fine. Taste like a bigger IPA. A little more malt forward but enough hop presence to remain enjoyable. Not the best IPA ever, but far far from the worst. Definitely worthy of a higher overall score, but the way it works here is that is it doesn’t taste like grapefruit juice or have a hop profile that you’ll smell in tomorrow’s turds, then it gets a low score.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
16 oz can purchased at the tiny grocery in River Run Village Keystone, Colorado. Mt antero 14276 * printed on the bottom of the can, not sure what that means, but I am hoping it wasn’t packaged on the 276th day of 2014. The pour is a hazed orange copper with a well formed off white head. Nice lace left behind on the glass. The aroma is round citrus, herbal, light floral and some resin in the back. The taste is caramel malt along with the hop herbal, citrus floral resin of the nose. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and a resin mineral finish. Decent, though not super fresh tasting.

Beer that Todd brought back from Colorado.
Good beer - just lacking some aroma and some zing.
But a good beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sample as part of a blind IPA tasting. Slightly hazy copper-orange color with a medium bone white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of citrusy hops, toasted malt and slight spice. The finish is moderately bitter with a grassy hops and fruit aftertaste. Decent overall.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Really not well made. Strange fermentation by-products or off-flavors mix poorly with their choice of hops. There is a bit of nice sweet caramel malt flavor. The carbonation is too low, and I like it low. But with little to no appealing aroma, and the clashing bitterness, I’d have to say -- maybe they yanked too hard, the chain fell off.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
1pt can poured into a Shaker at 40°. Color is a hazy yellow with a hint of orange. Carbonation is mellow giving a thin white head. Aroma of malt, honey, grapefruit and a touch of pine. Medium body with a creamy mouth feel. Flavor is slightly sweet with a fruity note of pineapple and grapefruit then a bit of pine comes in with a mild bitterness. In the after taste the fruit hangs on with the sweet and bitter balancing each other out. Overall this is a great IPA, a bit more on the sweet side than most but very well balanced and it goes down easy. Also it’s priced right at $10.99 for a 6pk of 16oz cans.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
10 oz at Historians. This is a rich copper color with a tall white head. Nice hoppy aroma, really smells like Amarillo. Plenty of melon, grass and citrus comes through. The palate is sturdy, but not too dense or sticky. Even keeled assertive hop bite comes through. Pleasant American hop bite throughout with a medium sweet malt body to balance. This is a pretty big IPA and a competent take on the style.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
From the tap, the pour is crystal clear, dirty blond in color , aroma is hoppy, taste is gentle with citrus notes with a hop forward hit and hoppy finish, a little sweetness to balance the hops, good overall IPA from the tap.
