Draught. Pours clear amber with an average, fizzy white head, somewhat diminishing with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (cookie, caramel, cereal), heavy hop (perfume, pine, citrus), light yeast (sweat, earth) with notes of apple, pear, peach, and pineapple. Medium bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.

Big thanks to truckpro. Medium amber. Nose is floral, citus and pines with some malts. flavor is similar with pines, citrus, and fruits. Light caramel malts. light body and dry finish but sweet on the forefront. Good beer.

Pours A One To Two Finger Head,Crisp Golden Amber Color.
Smell Is A Hoppy Pine(Cascade)With A Very Clean Malt Profile. Very Natural. Hops Become More Prevelent As Warms.
Taste Up Front Is A Mellow Malt, With A Medium Hop Flavor On The Back Of The Tounge In The Finish.A Twinge Of Alcohol As Warms.
A Medium Bodied Beer That Pairs With The Style Very Well.
Overall This Hits On The Scale As Very Good Strong Pale Ale, Compared To A Hoppier Traditional IPA.

On tap at the pub. Orange-gold, thin white head. Pine aroma with a bit of peach. Hop bitterness at the front and back, a bit sweet and floral.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2011 Draft @ brewpub. Bright amber with nice lacing. Nose is piney, but not so bright. Silky palate. Well-made, not chewy. More brightly hopped flavors than the aromas with dry, piney esters and a small bit of papaya. Good malt backbone too. Nice....Draft @ Socorro Springs: is copper. Aroma is bright hop cannabis and orange peel. Thin but nice flavors, big orange meat. High drinkable. Some spruce too. Toasty malts are subtle. Alcohol couldn’t be 7.5! 4,7,3,7,13

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear orange with a white head. Aroma of citrus, hop oils, and grassy hops. Flavor is malty with bitter, piney hops. This is a malty IPA for sure, but it is very good.

caramel-heavy, roughly bitter and acidic pine sap wood pine needles and caramel orange oil. woody and moderately rough texture, sappy finish. lacks overt flaws but is still fairly simple. waxy, lasting pine and orange oil finish.

Tap at the brewery. Very hazy dark gold. Nice fresh citrusy nose. Taste is the same without much malt balance. Very fresh and refreshing but a one-dimensional hop-head beer. Not bad though.

Draft at the brewery. Tasted 7/20/09. The actual name is Pedal, Paddle, Pole named after a race each Spring in the Upper Arkansas Valley. Pours a thin head, over a hazy gold (SRM 12) body, very nice lacing....nose is resin and grapefruit.....taste is pine and grapefruit citrus....mouth feel is light. Has all the right characteristics, but is overall light for an IPA.
