3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 ersload (1) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 30, 2013 does not count
nuts, bread, citrus, floral, clove, amber, orange, hazy, frothy, light sweetness, lightly bitter, medium body, lively. Overall very pleasant and satisfying. Not overly spice driven style. It conforms to their model of lighter styles and great drinkability
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 adnielsen (6152) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JAN 5, 2013
Tap @ Socorro Springs. Pours a touch hazy, orange appearance with a white head. Spicy, vanilla, cinnamon, caramel aroma. Pumpkin pie flavor worn notes of vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice. Not too bad.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MadRobin (982) - Silver Spring, USA - NOV 20, 2012
On tap "5 oz." sample (that could not have been more than 4 oz.) at Socorro Springs Restaurant & Brewery in Socorro, NM. Barkeep said ABV is 6%. Hazy copper-amber with no head or lacing. Aroma of pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and pepper. Taste of sweet pumpkin pie with the typical nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves plus a dose of chili pepper that leaves a fiery aftertaste. Medium/light body and medium/low carbonation. OK, I’m not from the Southwest, but to my mind, pumpkin pie and chili peppers are not a good combination. A quite decent tasting pumpkin ale until the fire at the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 Beershine (5173) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - DEC 24, 2011
Draft @ Socorro Springs. The color of pumpkin pie, burnt orange but clear. Apricot aroma signals having run through other line of fruit beer. The pumpkin and spice doesn’t come out. But they do in flavors. Thin. Nice pumpkin gourd meat. Not so spiced. Sweet. Even sugary. Pleasant enough but thin.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 drjay44 (2125) - Salida, Colorado, USA - NOV 6, 2009
Sampler at the brewery. Pours an off white head, over a clear amber (SRM 8) body....nose is light cinnamon, ginger and a bit of honey....taste is initially sweet malts with toffee, then mild cinnamon, ginger, finishing slightly sweet....mouth feel is light, almost watery, as is carbonation. As is typical of Eddyline this was done with a light hand. the spice was not overpowering as in many in this genre.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 erway (1004) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - NOV 29, 2004
On tap at the brewery. Pours a lite orange with a little head and no lacing. Very aromatic pumpkin pie spices. Doubt there’s any pumpkin in there. Tastes like freshly baked pumpkin pie. Nice C-hop finnish. Only drawbacks are: served way too cold, and not enough body.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 whaleman (2178) - North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 2, 2003
UPDATED: NOV 8, 2003 This is exactly what a pumpkin ale should taste like. I practically inhaled it. Fresh and tasty pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg spice. There's a nice marriage between the spices and some underlying hops in this brew. Earthy too. I like to imagine that this is how George Washington brewed the stuff. Very nice.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Terminus (2888) - Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA - OCT 14, 2003
UPDATED: FEB 2, 2005 tap-brewpub-now this is the best pumpkin ale i have ever had!!!! it smelled and tasted like pumpkin pie! excellent brew!
ReRate-october, 2004-I had this beer a few months ago and i must say that the body and flavors were less pronounced on the 2003 batch. thiner body and flavors were not as pumpkin-y. I droped the ratings down from 3.7-3.4.
