kempicus (146), Wellington, New Zealand Dec 28, 2007 Poured a pale yellow with soft pillowy head, smells great, cookie dough and vanilla and tastes lovely very vanilla, a nice easy to drink wheat beer
Blom (588), Odense, Denmark Jul 21, 2008 Tap at restaurant near the top of Patcherkopfel, Innsbruck. It was simply amazing to enjoy this excellent hefeweizen after having hiked to the top of Patcherkopfel. It is very fresh with a perfect combination of sweet banana + clove and a salty bitter finish. It’s much drier than the typical German Hefeweizen which to me makes it much more interesting. rcasta (232), El Salvador Jul 12, 2008 una cerveza deliciosa gracias CISV vamos a tener que recordar viejos tiempos cuando tomabamos buena cerveza europea. en realidad trae buenos recuerdos carruthm (316), USA Jul 8, 2008 short notes from old tasting. cloudy dark yellow, medium thick head. simple flavors. Dedollewaitor (1825), Odense, Denmark Jul 6, 2008 50cl bottle @ rasthof, Innsbruck. Pours hazy yellow with a creamy white foam. Smooth body. banana & wheat mainly. Mild spicy note. Well balanced, simple & drinkable! djtoucan (26), Tokyo, Japan Jun 10, 2008 Had a bottle in the Edelweiss weizen glass I got. I think the glass looks beautiful and more memorable than the beer was. Good hefeweizen that doesn’t need the lemons added in. I tired and that made it worse. Don’t do that. Very nice foam and not cheap tasting. Nothing special, nothing bad, but I’d buy another glass again!
