Flavour that of most typical German Hefeweizens. Cloves, wheat, banana, vanilla and yeast. Happy to find it here in Canada all of a sudden. Hope it is here to stay. Cross between Hoegaarden White, and Hacker Pschorr If you ask me. Good brew, a tad more watery then I’m used to with Hefeweizens though.

Jul 26, 2008 Cask at bar Becolth in Boxtel (NL). A hazy light yellow colored beer, with a foamy white head. The aroma is fruity, a little banana and some malt. The taste is dry, fresh sparkling, fruity banana. Almost no aftertaste. It’s a German hefeweizen, but not one of the better ones.

Jul 21, 2008 Tap at restaurant near the top of Patcherkopfel, Innsbruck. It was simply amazing to enjoy this excellent hefeweizen after having hiked to the top of Patcherkopfel. It is very fresh with a perfect combination of sweet banana + clove and a salty bitter finish. It’s much drier than the typical German Hefeweizen which to me makes it much more interesting.

Jul 6, 2008 50cl bottle @ rasthof, Innsbruck. Pours hazy yellow with a creamy white foam. Smooth body. banana & wheat mainly. Mild spicy note. Well balanced, simple & drinkable!
